Aurea Mining Inc. Announces Private Placement

Vancouver, BC: Aurea Mining Inc. (“Aurea”) (MXA-TSX-V) is pleased to announce that it has agreed to a non-brokered private placement of up to 3,333,333 units at a price of $0.30 per unit for gross proceeds of up to $1,000,000. Each unit will consist of one common share and one share purchase warrant. Each share purchase warrant will be exercisable to purchase an additional common share at a price of $0.40 per share for a period of two years from the date of issuance. The units will be subject to a hold period of four months as required by TSX Venture Exchange policies and securities law. This private placement is subject to regulatory approval.

The proceeds of the private placement will be used to fund exploration of Aurea’s mineral properties within the Taviche property in the State of Oaxaca, Mexico, the Guerrero Gold Belt in the State of Guerrero, Mexico, and for working capital.
